We believe that an inclusive and respectful atmosphere is vital to free expression and the open exchange of ideas, serving the main purpose of the conference. FOCS 2025 will implement IEEE policies (in particular the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieee.org\/content\/dam\/ieee-org\/ieee\/web\/org\/about\/whatis\/nondiscrimination.pdf\">IEEE Policy against Discrimination and Harassment<\/a>) as well as the <a href=\"https:\/\/ics.uci.edu\/~ssirani\/ToC_SH_report.pdf\">recommendations of the ad-hoc committee to combat harassment and discrimination<\/a>. The latter include a mechanism for authors to declare at submission a conflict of interest arising from past harassment, without divulging explicitly the nature of the conflict.<\/p><article><p>If you experience or witness discrimination, harassment or other unethical behavior at the conference, we encourage you to seek advice and remedy through one or more of the following options:<\/p><p><b>A.<\/b> (Our recommended option) Consult with the ToC anti-harassment advocates (SafeToC) in residence at FOCS 2025.<\/p><p><b>B.<\/b> Report to the TCMF chair, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cs\/profiles\/ran-canetti\/\">Ran Canetti<\/a> (<a href=\"mailto:canetti@bu.edu\">canetti@bu.edu<\/a>), and FOCS 2025 general chair, <a href=\"https:\/\/ccanonne.github.io\/\">Cl\u00e9ment Canonne<\/a> (<a href=\"mailto:clement.canonne@sydney.edu.au\">clement.canonne@sydney.edu.au<\/a>). The general chair is entitled to remove registered participants from the conference, if they are deemed to pose a risk to other participants.<\/p><p><b>C.<\/b>\u00a0Report by email to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:eventconduct@ieee.org\">eventconduct@ieee.org<\/a>. Equity at its heart is about removing barriers, biases, and obstacles that impede equal access and opportunity to succeed. Diversity is fundamentally about valuing human differences and recognizing diverse talents.
